How much did it cost you mate? Did you budget your self? Really considering taking a year off and going to aussie backpacking, as I would love to do it. I don't want to dream about doing it I want to live my dream

The pictures look amazing

I was born in Scotland.. all my uncles and aunties and grand parents stay here, when my Papa died in 1995 we decided to come home so we took australian Citizenship and flew home to be with our close family, those that are in Australia are my dads aunts and Uncle and his cousins so it made sense to come home as my other Papa was begging to show signs of arthritis..

Being on the otherside of the world when a relative dies is really hard.. i had no choice in the matter really the folks wanted to come home so me and my sister had to!

One thing i will say about Australia is it has so many opportunities we wouldnt have what we have now if it wasnt for moving out there!

When I went out there we played this thing called Aqua Golf, basically a driving range into water but with targets in the lake. Hit the target get the prize that is written on it Best part was it's 24/7 so me and my cousin used to go there when we were bored.

That's in Paramatta (sp). My family in Aus live in Blacktown. Seemed a nice area from what I saw. Good rail links and stuff.
