I've recently moved house, and the TV reception is shite!
I don't yet want to fork out for sky (lots of other, more important things to spend money on), but have noticed that the house already has a sky digital dish installed.
One of my mates from work has offered me his old reciever box to use in the meantime.
Will it work, and what chanels will I be able to recieve?
Also, in the interest of "sampling"... is it still possible to get chipped cards etc..  (I will be buying legit in the next 3-6 months!!)

i think you can receive a few channels for free, sky news, cartoon network and lving tv, not sure now but 2 years ago you could
