looking to spend around £200 -£250 for one 12" which must be around 1000w at 2ohm

For under £200 not many subs will be able to match it. Nice SQ and goes loud, no one i know has got anything bad to say about them, are you going to be running your sub ported or sealed? For the RE i would go sealed You have plenty of power available anyway.

yeh or would you go for a 15" rockford fosgate rfr 3115 which is 2000w max 1000w rms , lad wants £200
