good long chat with line manager, says he will speak to the director of our floor 2moro, he said in the mean time have a think about how much you want! but he also said i may not get a pay rise at all, to be discussed within the managers.
i mean they've shelled out 1k to send me to uni to study civil engineering, so i would imagine they would want me to pass that course and it not be a waste of money so i'd asssume they'd wanna keep me!
just thought i'd let you know!

yeah but i been here a year and 6 months and my pay has hardly gone up gone up around 500 quid only, and TBH i'm struggling and cant cope!!

i got a pay rise from £3.73 to £4 an hour. thats about a 7% increase which doesnt seem bad although tbh its probably still shit compared to what you lot with full time jobs get paid or those of you over 18

I've dropped my hours at work and it just seems i'm always skint. Money is going out of the bank just as it goes in. Think i've just enough money to fill the car up and shopping this week. Bills are killing me too, £90 lecky this week, £60 water bill 2 weeks back and the fucking TV Licence is due at the end of the month.
Wanna get stuck into some work at uni but at this rate i'm gonna have to leave. Just cannot see the point in getting a 3rd class degree.

talking to me dad last night whos an area manager for MFI. he said his sales staff get 9k basic but the worst sales people get around 20k at the very least, but this amazed me when he told me that the top sales guy last year earnt 59k!!!!! and i mean i work at the weekend and all i do is sell pc bits n bobs and computer fairs he says to me that i'd be good in that and i could earn a decent wage!!!!! crazy 59k!! and he aslo is on a basic of 9k so thats 50k on comission!!!!!! wow!
