No Actually - I completlety lied

If you have Mess 6.2 AND MESSENGER PLUS

Simply Hit (!IP) and it will magically appear... Like Magic... Sort of.. Ther person you are chatting to will see the IP too... Magic Right?

Actually let me re-iterate that
If you and the person you are talking to are using MSN7, which has changed from the original "talk thru the messenger server" method to the "talk directly peer to peer" (as long as both persons can see each other i.e. routers are set up correctly) then its simple, just use netstat to see your current connections and the client should be there.

if that fails, get them to accept a file from you, or get them to send you a file, and then it will create a direct connection to that person.
