Bought the g/f an ipod mini and have to say it's pretty damn cool...

I know people rave about the Creative Zen being 'technically' better, but there's just something about the design/useability of the ipod...

Although if you don't care about size you can now get a fullsize ipod with 20Gb for around the £200 mark...

iPods are for fasion victims and men who have thick black rimmed glasses. Sony NW-HD1 can be bought for very little money at the moment. There is a newer version too... Not sure what the price is on it, but both are very good

Sony has tiny memory in comparison, and isnt as user-friendly as the ipod IMO
