right iv got the engine all fitted but have realsied the power steering pump i removed to fit engine mount has the alternator belt adjuster on it  does ny1 no a way around this??
once that is sorted it should be all go

i had this problem.. im gussing:
you havnt got power steering in ur car yeh? so the bracket for the P/S and alternator is now removed and u have replaced it with your original mount?
k, well i got a long bolt (same thread as original bracket bolt, got a spacer (about 30 i think it was) then got a long alternator bracket of a friend, but u can buy one for sure....

where the original bolt goes...
its set back on the engine, thats wot the spacers for

you need the alternator belt/tensioner assembly off an early 16v SRi  i used one on mine... works a treat

u can use a 1.4 16v non pas mount... have fun finding one....
i used the driver side mount off the 1.2 8v engine and i got a bracket made up for the top of the altenator and used a smaller belt.....
