been using winamp to play mp3'z for ages....i have near enough 4000 or them and all of a sudden winamp cant add them all to the play list without crashing the program...

What other media players does everyone else use?

As for your winamp problem, yea the playlist gets a bit sluggish after a while However, have a search on the winamp website and you can find loads more playlist plugins that are a lot better and will sort out yor probs

I remember Sonique. Had some really good skins and visual things. Itunes is the way forward though.

Use the Winamp Library rather than the playlist for playing songs if you have thousands, it's less laggy. Alternatively, iTunes is the best.
