My brain has given up. Where shoudl I be looking for a hybrid turbo or the like for a LET? Looked on Wallace Performance, found a couple on there. Cant be arsed to post on mig, so cs will have to do. Just have to ignore the crap replies.

Turbotechnics, but before you purchase one, ask for advice and what is suitable and sensible for the c20let with the spec you'll be using.

becarefull as a hybrid is a broad term. probably somthing like a GT28 base unit. turbo technics, turbo dynamics

aye, happy to stand corrected on this and learn, my understanding of a hybrid is a standard turbo which has been modified to higher performance, eg cut back blades, different bearings etc.etc.

cut back blades reduces back pressue at high rpm but increases lag.

which is why variable vain turbos were invented... but i dont think anyone makes a decent sized one yet

hybrid is better for cars running cams and other mods to compusate for a lag mate on previous cars i found hybrids arnt always the best way and i heard i dunno if true that hybrid turbos havent got a better bearing in them unless you pay for it?? as the same with the turbine and the casings?

need a good spec one, different thrust bearings, blades, unsure if best to buy a kkk hybrid or to go elsewhere like venom said??

Brad, if he wants around 300-350 odd ish then a 3k hybrid should be ok, I'm just an idiot, people who mod their engine over that are either bored or have too much loose money. I'm the first option.
