just wondering how many of you have asked for pay rises/wages reviewed?
and how did you ask your employer?
i aint talking bout if you work for family or anything. i work for a management consultancy and am a data processor and i dont think i get paid enough TBH for the work i do, and the way i'm so flexible in working whatever hours they ask.
Help is much appreciated cheers guys and girls

Are there other similar posts nearby offering more money?
You'd certainly have to justify it but if you're reliable and accurate then you're saving them money by not leaving and letting them hire someone less able.
I personally have never done this as mine is all pay scales and automatically calcuated but can't see what harm it would do.
Are you not appraised?

i was thinking something along the lines of, " seeing as i have been doing this for a while, i feel i have gained alot of knowledge along the way and feel my wages should be reviewed"

Ive been at my job for 3 months full time,7 months in total.
When i start permenantly i was told id get a 3 month pay review and appraisals are every 3-6 months.Had these on wednesday
Just email your boss and say that you've been working for the company for 1 year and 4 months but you have not recieved the 3 month pay review you were told you would be given and would it be possible to set a meeting for it and to also have an appraisal at the same time,if yours are given every 6 months
they can only say no
