They really dont have a clue, talking about long straight roads in auz the whole time. Couldnt be further from the truth to be honest! Something crazy like 95% of the population of Australia live within 25 miles of the sea, and most of us are on the eastern seaboard. Sydney is pretty populated now, and it is no different for me to drive from my house to the local shops, same as in UK, about 2 minutes up the road. Everywhere is close by, there is no travelling involved in everyday living. Why do people get this stereotypical image of having to drive 1000km's to the nearest shops?
