my petrol tank is leaking on my corsa b sport. is there anything other than a new tank that i can do to stop this?also how much am i looking at for a new tank?

aside from a new tank, there are repairs u can use but you will need to drain the tank dry and some need you to patch it from both sides... aint it fun?

Depends where its leaking from but its unlikely.

Cheapest on the web is either SEL or Autovaux. There's a place near me who are cheaper but they don't mail order so you might have to nip over if its worth the while.

just get sum JB weld liquid metal bout £5 from motor factors mix 2 tubes together spread on were tank is leakin should do the job. i fixed my mates oil sump with it.

is more than likely leaking from the seam where the top an bottom join, so as a temporary measure onl fill up to half a tank and i won leak but a new tank is needed in the long run

cheers ppl expecially AdamF as this is where i think its leaking from.been uder it this morning and it doesnt seem too bad but ill keep an eye on it.how hard is it to fit a new tank?also how much is this place you talk of Ian?cheers again
