Getting my new car on Saturday and therefore need 2 cancel the insurance on my current car. will i get any money back from doin this as i paid the annual amount in november but ave only used it for 3 and a bit months!

Cant you swap it over mate or are you getting free isurance?
Usually they give you money back yeh but take off some for cancelling and how long you have already been on the road

would swap it over but they want twice as much as admiral r gonna charge me! some1 told me some companies dont give u ne money back!

Make sure the dates don't overlap - your no claims can't be on both policies.

When I cancelled my adrmiral for the veccy they said they woud only charge for the time I was covered.............but I payed monthy...

they may give you a pitiful amount back
Long story but Adrian Sucks insurance took £700 ish of me for a years premium, then they decided they had miscalculated and i owed them another £300. Well after two months i cancelled the insurance and sucks threatened to take me to court for the outstanding £300. Having pointed out that terms and conditions need to be given prior to the deal not after (the blurb about short term cancellation charges) i eventually managed to get a refund of about £300 i think of them.
All to do with contract law!
