i have a mk1 golf gti which i m turning into a track beast.
Have stripped it all down ready for its respray but need to decide wether or not to buy fibre glass bonnet, bootlid and front wings or just standard replacements.
All in the fibre glass bits will cost £300ish and the standard bits will cost £100 max!
does the weight reduction and the fact they wont rust justify the extra £200?

lose anything that you dont need and change as much as you can for lighter parts.
get some perspex windows in as well, loose any seats you dont need.
just keep the esentials
