im not sure to be honest... dont see why not as i think you can now specify an amp from the factory. This may only be with the harmon kardon stereo though.

Best off checking mini2 forums

On second thoughts i dont think you can do this with standard headunit.... should probably just upgrade at the same time anyway

Its quick enough for me mate... would be a good race between mine and a 2l corsa... Mine has some engine mods... around 205- 210 bhp
