finally bought my rat

his names rodney, he is 8 weeks old and he is a dumbo rat, called that because they have bigger ears than usual

thast cruel. you should have two of them. they also require toys. also do not use sawdust. recycled paper cat litter is best. give them a home to sleep in and tear up some kitchen roll. also why is he in a glass tank

1- if you buy two they are more interested in eachother than the owner
2- i have toys

5-because i was told glass was fine rats like to climb and you need a large area for them to go around in. a proper cage should cost around £40. if you lived near to me you could of bought my old one for a reduced price.





I'm not saying this to argue. I'm giving you the facts both from having rats at home and using them at work. p.s if he is male it's most likely he will stink and spray you with urine
