My dad is looking to get a new car, but will be getting it on hire purchase, so will be looking at a new list price of £25k max. He needs some space, something that isnt going to break down all the time, and something that hasnt got a ridiculously large engine! Im thinking a new 280bhp evo VIII. Any other suggestions?

Monaro? Dont know the prices on these, and yes it had got a huuuggee engine. If he wants a small engine why not get as already said, a little 1.3 N/A RX8 .
