if i drill the airbox on a 1.2 8v with standard filter and exhaust will i get more noise?

yeah and i would say its fair better doing that then getting an induction. They sound great but loads of flat spots

if you do a search some one posted on here a good few months ago how to do it
Depends what you want

If you want noise induction kit is better

Drill it on the left (wing side)below the filter, this stops crap getting everywhere and hot air from the enginebay

the 1.2 8v engine makes a lovely sound with a drilled airbox.... porbably the only good thing about this engine....
