Hi, i like to lurk but not posted much but i was looking for some answers, i have come across a set of Boston Acoustics 5.5 for a reasonable price i have seen these get gud reviews so were planning to have them as my front speakers in tig, they are only 5.1/4 but i can live with that, hopefully they won't get lost in space, but am i gonna lose quality over a 6.5 system>? in terms of mids? am i best getting a 6.5 or 7 to fill in as well? sorry for the Q, i am planning on a set of 12's at some point but i just wanted to clarify many thanx for anticipated help!!!

If you're reinforcing with subs then there's no real benefit to squeezing a 6.5/7 in there, not only diameter to consider but if they're wider they're normally deeper.
