Came out of the pool club tonight to find that the polo which was parked infront of me had reversed into my car and scraped white paint on my bumper and possibly bent it slightly (hard to see in the dark) ... We parked behind the chavs when we got there but we left about 2 meters gap.

We saw them get out all about 16 lol - but came out and found my car with white scratches all over where the pug badge is on the front and the front bumper

I'm HOPING if I t-cut it - it'll look ok? but how do you use t-cut? is it in a bottle?

t-cut is hard work!
its just like a polish except more difficult to use, and when ur finished u've got to polish over it again with a gloss

It's not down the metal - the car that reversed into me is white! as I saw it parked infront before I walked in.

hence white scrape... looks on top of my layer of paint.

Cheers - but ideally I'd like to sort it before I go home to parents. My mum keeps going 'I told you so' to everything about my car so far. she'll probably think it was attacked.

just t-cut it, then polish. it aint hard mate. Get down a petrol station and buy some t-cut, they normally sell it. Then just follow the instructions on the bottle!

t-cut is easy to use!!, just rub it in to the marks/scratch area leave it on for about a 1min and then wipe it off with a clean rag spotless!

do you deffo have to polish it after? I don't have any polish here at uni. I'm just hoping its enough to remove the amount of white and hope that it is paint on mine and not scraped down to the primer

no u dont have to polish it after but will take the polish away so ull need to do it at some point, jkust dont try t-cutting the whole car....... rub it on and really rub it n hard till you start to cry and your arm hurts, then rub it off with clean rag, should have one blue rag by then and no scratch on ur bumper

turtlewax colour magic wont do a thing to hiding the white paint, tbh its rubbish :/ with regards to tcut unless you want to be there for hours doing circular motions I would be inclined to try and bung sum1 at a bodyshop £20 and get them to get their pro paint buffer on2 it should only take a minute and it will look like new if done correctly and the paint underneath is intact!

otherwise you could use a very fine rubbing compound, followed by tcut and finally a polish.

If the white paint has come off another car, itll wipe off with thinners no problem. Did it to our van the other day.
