How wide, what wheel offset and what tyres?

If they're a good offset with low pro's get it down -60mm

Mines lowered 60 front & 40 rear on et45 195/45/15. Take a look in my garage for pics

It sits lower than when those pics were taken as the kit was just put on then.

i had the same dilemma, ive got new wheels that are 195/45/15 and et:45

but i live in the sticks so i cant go down 60mm

y cant u? i live halfway between the sticks and town and im down about 55-60mm and its fine. occasionally the cat scrapes on speedramps (esp the big bugger in halfords/comet/pc world) but its fine otherwise

60mm will be ok gmax isnt that bumpy on mine

yeah, i would say 60mm looks better but if u have hugh speed humps u may wanna stick to 40. I have 40 and it looks ok, can email u a pick if u want?

my mate had 15s and lowerd 60mm, was fine, wasnt to low, then got a PSG wide arch kit tht sat about an inch of the ground

maybe, ill see how low it is down 40mm, if it ever arrives

Heres my car mate on -60mm gmax kit. ride is fine on flat bendy rounds. But there are some roads u know the which the road has a new part like a every meter and its fcukin horriable proberly the 45 profile tyres don't help though.
i'd say go for it 60mm/15's looks well smart everyone loves how low it is go for it mate and speed bumps are no probs! although gmax kits drop lower than 60 i'd say!
