i have a kenwood amp n sub and im not sure how to wire it up. i thought i knew but blown fuses many times. this is what i have done.

POWER
+ = live wire from battery
- = Earthing point in the boot
P.Con = (whats this??)

SPEAKERS
+ = + on the sub
- = - on the sub

L - Left output from head unit
R - Right output from head unit

GND - i assumed this was ground, so i then tried earthing from here, resulting in a blown fuse.

Where am i going wrong?

Apologies for posting in General Chat but i need a quick answer!! im getting impatient !

Thanks.
but nothing is happening. there is also something called p.con not sure wot it is

P.Con is the remote-on wire from the back of the headunit. Just a thin wire that tells the amp to turn itself on when the headunit's in operation.

Yes, unless the amp has an on/off switch or the circuit has a switch in it somewhere.

I'd get it to a decent ICE shop - most charge £50 for a AMP/SUB install but you godda remember if you wire it up wrong just the once then you can damage ALL off your new ICE or worse still cause a fire!
