I usually listen to music really loud thru my ear phones during the late hours of the night. So i was just listening to damien rice quite loudly.

My dad rushes in my room like a madman, i jump about half a mile out off my seat, and he shouts "What the heck are u playing at, its 2.30 in the bloody morning!"... ...

Me pulling a 'WTF' face, i had the earphones foolishly in my ears but didn't connect the jack in!

been playing the music like this for a good half hour as well...

luckily i had the bass on low, otherwise the neighbours would have felt it as well as heard it!


Now, it could have been a shite lot worse if i had been watching a porno!

Man, you try having someone burst into your room in the late hours! i thought i was getting burgled or something! I'm sure if he never opened his mouth i would have knocked him one with my lamp lol

nah i didn't realise the music wasn't coming from the earphones. But safe to say i'm gonna check every time from now on!

but try it first, stick a pair of earphones in ur ears and put some music on, if ur not thinking about it u don't realise it.

i thought the sound came out of either one or the other (headphones or speakers). When you put the headphone jack in it cuts out the sound to the speakers.
