howdies all,
im thinking about getting a new mobo for a socket A XP3000. However, ive been have a butchers an majority of t hem i see has onboard this and that, which i DONT need - because it all causes problems with my digidesign 001 D/A card (and that is DEFFO not getting replaced).
At the moment i have an Asus A7N8X Deluxe, which is alright but i need more SATA ports than the current two i have - and yes i was thinking of getting an addon card - but the 001 D/A is very fussy and it took me about a month pissing around to get it working (had to take it off ACPI, or what ever it was and fart around with IRQ addresses etc)...and even now its abit shite (causes playback to jump etc), compared to my old Abit with the Via KT266 chipset (worked a dream that board).
So basically, im after a board with about 3 or 4 SATA ports, an IDE port/or two...usb etc etc and NO onboard shite...with a VIA chipset if pos....
anyone know of one??
