for the cuntin work to the corsa

place your bets

work to be done.....

remove old c20xe block
strip and rebuild supplied c/head with supplied parts
strip orig 2.1 block
re-bore orig 2.0 block to 2.1
build new 2.1 bloxk up
new arp rod and head bolts (needs new, so not supplied)
new cometic H/G (not using old)
fit new 2.1 engine
fit supplied TB's
fit and map suppiled DTA ecu
rebuild F20 with plate diff and new seals (supplied)
fit lightened flywheel (not supplied)
fit uprated clutch (not supplied)

most of it will just be labour.....

most expensive parts were suppiled

80 for rob bolys
100 for H/G
??? for flywheel/clutch

i canny mind

its an uprated clutch for a c20let, also using a lightened flywheel for a c20let....

thats if the job is as easy as they say it is changing the bits over to take the let parts etc

i'd be extra happy with a 13 of any sort on its 1st ever 1/4mile.....

low 13 is realistic i think once its been around a bit

i put £3k plus cos you'll probbly add more parts to the list over time

Ak have you got a list of nessecary parts for an XE conversion (with the exclusion of the stuff listed in the Conversion kit)

and which kit would you reccomend?

Ash.... use your noodle

Boab - i have the m-tec kit..... no probs in the year solid i ran it..... Cant think of anything not mentioned in the kit.

also..... i wont be fitting more till its run in at least

1 major thing to do once its run is the manifold.... upgrade to SBD or Tony Law, then i think the money has to go to suspension and prep work

I had another look at one of Tony Law's manifold's whilst over at Dan's the other day/night/whenever.
Such a funky piece of pipework! I think I'll get a quote on a BTB manifold too as they're a bit closer but neither will disappoint.

i emailed them and they didnt say what kit it was just what it contained mate so i wasnt sure... Cheers tho
