anyone know anything about these "desktop pc entertainment centers" - http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/products/index.html?action=c2hvd19wcm9kdWN0X292ZXJ2aWV3&product_uid=75267 - are they really a good alternative to your PC, stereo and TV, as i need a new one of each really!

Dads got one great, but in all honestly I go on the net and have TV on, its either one or other with that thing

Yeha its good build quility, good compents, and looks good but you can get a higher spec if you fancy the normal tower setup.

I changed my tower to a "cube" PC and best thing I ever bought with S/Dif out etc and put ur own Processor/Ram/Grafix in it, done minted Saves room and it awesome!

can you plug in home speakers and VHS players and does it have the three PIN connection and things like that?

Think so mate, and S-video out if u wanted it on a bigger TV, but cant remember bout the "inputs" ahve to read the spec

is it the composite in thats the three pins? whats s-video? i dont know much also what about a scart connection?

Composite is the yellow single RCA plug....

You're thinking of COMPONENT video which is three RCA sockets (Red, green, blue), found on quality crt tv's, plasmas/lcd tv's, and projectors...

okay so composite is the yellow one but still it have the white and red connection for audio as well? also bit bad if cant connect scart cause then i cant use my video player!
