If so did u notice much of a power increase. i am going to do a 1.0 12v > 1.4 16v conversion and just wondering if i will see much of a power increase?

You'll notice loads of difference mate. I went from a 1.2 8v to a 1.4 16v, and in comparison the 1.4 flies. You soon get used to the power though, but is fun when you first get it .

whats quicker, the 1.0 12v or the 1.2 8v

Richie went from a 1.0 to a 1.2, bit quicker yeh but nothing magical

the 1.012v has more power and is quicker higher up the gears. Some say the 8v has the edge at lower speeds.

I went from 1.0 12v to a 1400 16v with powerbox and some other mods decat etc. Really noticable difference couldnt believe how 'flat' the 12v was lol
