Never really played online games before but been ive playing about a week and im fairly useless Anyway just wondered if anybody could tell me what the following things mean?

Ping
TKers
Latency

Also any recomendations for good servers? chars

Latency is how you measure your connection to the server IIRC. Also known as Lag.

High Latency = Slow connection.

Ping is the amount of time it takes to send X amount of bits to and from the server, like submarine pings

Tker = Team Killers (friendly fire on, wankers that shoot their own team)

Hold Tab for the scoreboard, will tell you your latency (I thought ping and latency were same thing) as for clans, they are groups of people who spend waaaay too much time playing it, have a team registered on a website, and play matches for tournements etc.

yep those were the days , used to be a counterstrike addict but now given up. altho counterstrike made me fuck up my alevels

They are just about the same, other than crappy graphics and shitty physics on the old one.
