Basically, i'm hoping to buy some FK coilovers for my Corsa B and have heard rumours about them rubbing with the wheels, unless they've been altered?? I'm on 16in Speedline's if that helps.....

Can you buy a set that has been modded during manufacture to stop this or is it a simple job you could probably do at home??

from what ive read i think the et:49 wheels you have to be a problem, as they are 'too perfect'

you dont need diffo helper springs tbh...

as i say its all in the camber setup as to if they fit or not...

with speedlines id imagine you would be ok, there 6.5" width arent they?

my 17's are ET 45 7 x 17, and i DONT have spacers or rubbing at all, set up the camber correctly and they fit.

so is the wheel hub in a different place with the coilovers?

or is it the springs that catch the wheels? TBH that not a great design, they must of designed em with wheel off

the tyre catchs on the coils of the spring if u have 7"+ alloys with a high offset.

Its not a design problem as such its just corsas, the coilover design iutself couldnt change to make any difference...

nah its cos unlike fixed dampers the spring platform can be adjusted up or down so if its to low it can rub the wheel/tyre...

um...

the perfect wheel is anything 7" wide and ET42 or less, or 6.5" wide and ET45 or less..
