Old wedge shaped 1.8 turbo and newer 2.0 turbo have recently bought an old merc E280 but running costs are killing me so thinkin of one ofthe above would like to know insurance group performance tuning potential etc.

grat cars group 18 i think for the s14a wont be cheap to run tho.

I like them but dont expect low running costs, especially if you tune it!

Im not just talking petrol although it will probably be about that around town aswell , old turbo'd cars like to brake

it will be similar to the merc in petrol costs. then when you boost itll cost a fortune!

thought they were good for about 35mpg and more aerodynamic than my brick shaped pimp wagon

Ha ha very good don't really wanna sell me merc but im gettin 40miles out of a tenner ok its has 200bhp but it weighs nearly 2tonnes

I get 100miles to £20 with my impreza, my BMW325 wasnt much better!!
