Does anyone know how much it costs to renew your passport? I know i could go to the post office, but it is closed today for decoration.

Costs £42 for an adult 10 year passport:

Better do it now - it'll go up to £70-80 when they bring ID cards in. If you were born before September 1929, you get a free passport:
