once they have jump do you think they regret it just as they have jumped off the edge?

what a horibbly slow way to die..... think of the people qho jumped from the twin towers.. a good 10-15 second befor ethe ground comes....

it was that or be burnt to a crisp though.
i'd prefer the instant death of an impact at terminal velocity than the slow excrutiating option of burnage.
the 15secs would probably be quicker than the other choice.

indeed. plus the 15 seconds falling wouldnt be painful it would be more like fun until you hit the floor like flying

I agree being burnt is the worse pain i have ever felt, and you would close your eyes most likly if you jumped not like you going to want to watch the floor coming towards you.
10-15 is a quick death anyway
