I've done a bit of searching CS and I think my car mists up alot because of a dirty Pollen/Cabin Filter (They are the same arent they?).

Where abouts in the engine bay is this located and what does it look like. Is it worth cleaning it (if so what with) or is it cheap enough to buy a new one?

Also WTFs with these torx screws on the spark plugs, I got a torx driver and they won't budge, everyone whos tried cant get the buggers loose, is there a trick to it or are mine well and truly siezed on?

Cheers

pollen filter - am sure it is located at the either the left...or right handside of the engine bay...under the scuttle panel......scuttle panel should be held in witha few screws

torx problem - lightly tap the top of the bolt with a small hammer....this should shock the bolt loose.......therefore wen you go to use your torx driver...it should come straight off......when tightening...just give it a little nip

its dead centre under the scuttle panel...

5 hold the scuttle in place (2 either side, 1 in middle joining the 2 halfs of the scuttle...

then just peel off the water-proofing layer & its under that

you WILL need to remove the 2 wiper stalks to get the scuttle panel off...

OK, I got the spark plugs out and they took a bit more than a "tap"

As for the scuttle, I took off the passenger side (with no wiper blades) then when it came to the otherside, I decided there was no way it was coming off without the wiper blades coming off. So could you tell me how to get them to come off then? Cheers

Once I get to the filter, what should I do to clean it?

cheers
