After many months of lazyness i pulled my finger out and fitted mah engine, was blowing a gale, and fooking freezing but i still gave it a go, started quite late so got dark before i fitted any of the ancilleries, will do them tomorrow.





Really looking forward to getting her running.

i used two different ropes, i was in the process of changing from one to the other when i took that picture, the front mounts were on but when i lifted the crane it was ineffective, so moved the rope to behind the inlet manifold just to lift the back of the engine a bit so i could line up the rear mount.

got some chain in the shed, but thought it would damage the cam cover.

Took the cam cover and cams out before the engine left the car.... Forgot about that.

written off mate, got the cheque here, bloke at insurance said i could probably still drive it. but he sounded a bit stupid, so im gonna ask for something in writing. I just waiting on Beardy to get back to me with a day he wants to come and collect it.
