Any ideas here

iv changed the fuel filter whichi thought fixed it but it still happens

basically after driving the rear of the car stinks of fuel, in the boot area aswell, fuel filter is new!

the other problem is when driving high up the revs occasionally you can feel the power drop off, like its not pulling smoothly all the way round, iv also noticed that if i change gear at say 5500 rpm when its playing up i floor it in the next gear and literally nothing happens, juts stay at tha same speed, if i release the throttle and prod it down again a few times it will pick up then

this problem is only intermittent though! i dno if its related to my headlight keep flickering in the dark when i push the throttle down and back off the headlight will flicker a bit, dno if its related?

another thing that i notice happens is if the throttle is fully down and its playing up i.e. not picking up like it should, if i release the throttle to say 1/3 then it picks up, almost like its squirt too much fuel through at high revs and its killing it summit

Nae too bad i think. They are internal, and quite literally pull straight out from the tank and piss petrol all over your interior.

Get someone to turn on ignition while you listen under car for pump to whirr up, it should be a fairly consistent noise. this may help if the noise is like a strangled cat.

Check the seal is on the tank right.

Then check the pump, and the wiring going to it.

Clean injectors?

Going on the fact you said you can smell it in the back, a tiny tiny leak might be occouring.
