Just drove home from the girlfreinds and jesus, theres a massive oak tree been totally uprooted and is laying partly on the green belt it was planted and partly on the road. A solitary police van is just sat there.

All over the road there's debris, thought i was in the movie Twister. Crazy

F*ckin awful in Rochdale area

Drove through a few floods yesterday, passing flooded houses etc. Came to a huge fuckoff puddle, didnt realise how deep it was, anyway the air intake sucked water up into the engine and fooked it, and my rear bumper got damaged. Waited on the really windy moors for an hour for the RAC to tow me back. Was woken up at 5am this morning to find a lamppost embedded in the back of my car.

Thinking positively, if that were on the roof it would have written it off.

Indeed, and if it had blown 90 degrees in the other direction it would have fallen on my bed
