I don't usually do this but I'm going to pull rank and ignore the rules a bit for the sake of simplicity.

The thread is split. Usual procedure in these cases is to go back through the thread and ban anyone who was out of line.

If you get a message saying 'You are banned', that might be the reason. Correspondence will not be entered in to.

this should happen more often ian, with new people comming onto the site and people saying bad things etc etc like the thread you have just sorted, they should be banned for a few week. Maybe this will get the message accross to them?

Its not a week, I don't tend to keep an accurate record of the timings these days. When I get around to it perhaps.
