in the eyes of society it does
most people don't see the need for a child at a young age, but there's no rules

I was 20 when I had my son (I am 22 now), me and my partner had been together 2 years and used protection, due to unforeseeable circumstances she fell pregnant. and I was very scared, but I decided to make to best go of it, as did she, I am not a chav, I own a nice house in a very nice quiet cul-de-sac, have a good well paid job with a good amount of qualifications to keep moving forward and am doing fairly well in life. having a child made me grow up quick, rather than dossing it off all day like most young parents seem to, I wanted to work harder, stopped seeing friends to concentrate on being a "good dad".
I wanted to be the best I could be for me my child and my missus, which I have been, my child is very healthy, has a high mental ability for his age, and is very well behaved.
I am not from a family who believe in benefits neither are hers and we had some very good support from my parents who pushed us to better ourselves
why be too old to appreciate your child, too old to cope with the mental and physical stress, and your child will give the biggest financial burden between sort of 15 and 20, I will be 35-40 what you don't want is to be 50-60 and having to carry on working your arse off to pay for them.
I will say 90% of parents at my age seem like chavs, but not all of us are. and it pisses me off sometimes the looks we have had from people, and the stigma around our situation, but we are good parents who work hard, can't see a problem myself.
