If you have ever used tomtom built in postcode search u will kno how crap it is so I have compiled all the post codes in the uk into 10 poi overlays accurate to full postcode search, it is as good as multimap search using these overlays!

Scotland
Midlands
NW
NE
Anglia
SE
South central
SW
London
Wales

Who would want them? if i get enuff interest il upload them, be warned they amount to about 50meg in all if u had all overlays a storage card is needed.

i also have these aswell

Mcdonalds
Tescos
Asda
Sainsburys
Halfords

http://www.anorgett.f2s.com/pc.zip

11mb file extracts to 10 different POI's

thats a very good plan if it works well, i have heard of people talking/trying to create postcode overlays which don't seem to work well - i don't know why tom tom didn't build this in.

seems like a lot of effort on your part has gone into this, it might be worth contacting http://www.pocketgps.co.uk/tomtompoi.php to host the files.

I am using a bit of free software called POI Edit from http://www.dnote.nl/pda/poi/PoiEdit/index.html

but you can use this to convert the files to XLS
