i just got an ipod today and dont have a clue how to use it. when i try to update my playlist i get this error message -



does anyone have a clue what this is? it wont allaw me to update the songs. ive tried restarting my computer, turning the ipod off and on, resetting the ipod settings and still wont do it

maybe its programed to work with a differant I-pod? did you enter its serial number correctly? i've messed around ith mine afew times but i've never had an error msg like that

Any format that's in iTunes is the correct format to go on an iPod.
Does the iPod say "Do Not Disconnect" on the screen? How's it connected?
