my car is 10 year old and has
central locking
electric windows
electric mirrors
air con
climate control
power steering
abs
etc

doubt ya would get many 10 year old vauxhalls with the same stuff (i may be proven wrong here

)

i returned from a civic vti coupe to a corsa gsi.
money was the defining factor, and had i had a few ponies, i never would have made the change, but build quality and solidity can be replaced by cheap performance enough so that you can forget about the benefits of jhap imo./
