i have fookin ice all over my car, so i thort of the bright idea to wash all the ice off with a hot towel. guess what, all the water off the towel has turned into ice again, so im back at stage one. i dont have a ice scraper, and every single panel of my car is frosted up.

this morning couldnt get any worse

why dont you just start the car up, wack the heaters on full and start scraping with an ice scraper

use a cd case works a treat. or just buy an ice scraper

if u leave the blowers on for abit the car will unfreeze, u just have to wait a bit

boil the kettle and pour the boiling water over windows to melt it

^^ i heard that you can crack your screen or something doing that

ah well, i sorted it. my washer jets were frozen too, so i just grabbed one of the cd's out of my car, and used it like an ice scraper (snapping the disk in the process )

Turn engine on, heat on screens on full. Use either piece ofplastic or wood to scrape windows. Go for drive down dual carriageway, i guarantee your car will clear

pour hot water on BUT NOT boiling...just warm...this works ok...

I remeber last year on my old car i thought i'd be funny with the ice scraper and do viper stripes down the car.... needless to say i left two big scratches down the length of the car that were a nightmare to get out .

No, its a daft invention, instead of ice u get frozen de-icer on your screen

Warm water from kettle does the job better

DeIcer doesn't freeze.
It certainly freezes less readily than water.
