got 576 k bt adsl, no problems ever, also broke a modem by accident sent a new one out next day free of charge !

UK Online only do certain areas though. Inner citys mainly, London, Manchester and Glasgow i thought.
I'm on BT Yahoo 1mb line with the 30GB limit. Never had a problem with it, get constant ~120K/s downloads from good sources.

i thought uk online used many of the bt exchanges so can cover a fair whack of the country.

Nah, i looked into it when they announced their 8MB service and its limited to certain inner city areas. Last time i looked anyway.

The 8mbit service is limited to such areas, but the other services aren't.

i have just signed up wit wanadoo. 17.99 with free modem 1mbps and 2gig limit. does me tho. no probs as of yet

Ive just got the 1MBPS BT line Marc - works really really well and im well chuffed with it so yeah i think its good.

currently enabling 16 exchanges a week , by march 2005 most of the common areas in the UK will be enabled , when im back at work ill post up a list of the exchanges and the dates.
