Was just curious how often people changge their cars basically, ie sell one and buy another. Cept ak, cos he collects them when one breaks, keep it and buy another

i seem to be like quite a lot of people on here... buy a car, it fucks up, keep it and buy another! my corsa went wrong after about five months, thats been stuck in my garage ever since.

then i bought a honda CRX, which has now also gone wrong. atm im thinking of getting thisk 106 GTi ive seen at a garage, driving that around whilst i fix up the other cars and then sell two of them

I may have bought and sold a lot of cars, but i have made money on them all. I buy a car and sell it for more, don't ever have to put any money with the next car that i buy and sell that for more

1st Nova payed £900 got £2K in parts and componsation for it
Calibra 16v payed £1300 sold for £2.3K 2 weeks later
Sold second Nova for £3.5K
Bought BMW for £3.1K sold for £3.7 6 months later
White 106GTi £3.2
Part ex'd that and a few hundered for Blue 106 which i sold for £5.6
Bought Accord type R for £6.4K (saved up for the extra i had to put with) then sold it for just under £7K
Bought BMW for £6.5K ans its worth more

Killed one, gave another one back to the finance company, traded in the last two. I'm keeping this Astra for a bit, there's nothing else out there I want that isn't too expensive.

I'm on my third in 4 months. Only had my Sport for 4 weeks tho. Had my SRi for 9 months, and now have to keep this one cos on finance How many people wish they'd kept one they've sold though, cos i wish i'd have kept my SRi, have much more £ now! And i'd be more respectes on this site with that than i am with my Paxo!

My only regrets are selling them too early and not getting a full years no claims due to cancelling the policies to move insurers.

All depends on the car...how i like it etc....

driving history so far..

i'm now 31..passed test at 19

and car history is:

Ford Escort 1.4 ghia (old x reg) in gold
then
Ford Escort 1.3 popular f reg
then
Citreon AX GT in silver
then
Corsa 1.6 sport
now
Vectra sri v6...

so not many for 12 years of driving.....kept the GT for the longest time....
