Agreed It's not a Vauxhall and it's not a VXR it's a Holden.. and it no longer comes with a 5.7 litre V8 it comes with the New 6.0 litre V8 Ls2 engine according to HSV's website

Also disagree with the Commodore being the Omega.. it has different Chassis from the omega

HSV Commodore.. (Clubsport R8) Totally different car to the Omega.. only car the Commodore ever shared a Chassis with was a Toyota Lexan

HSV Monaro GTO

And the One I want but wont be available here.. The Coupe 4 it's the Monaro with the 6.0 V8 LS2 engine with 4wd...

if your talking about the Omega and the Commodore.. not really the Australian car market and british markets are totally different.. The commodore is a family car much like the mondeo and vectra class here... the Holden Statesman is more in the League of the Omega...

But Holden Do not use Vauxhall Chassis for their own cars never have never will.. they only import the vauxhalls as a whole i.e the Astra and Corsa as we all know the Corsa is called a Barina across there!

Toyota Actually Bought the plans of the Comodore chassis back in 1990 to build the Toyota Lexan with the VP Commodore shape and chassis it was a huge hit unfortunaately the japs made on fatal mistake...

they built an identical car to the commodore that was $5000 dearer..
