won it on ebay last night and collecting on Saturday. The guy said he prefered paypal payment but I want to pay cash when I see it. I know ebay is bid to buy but if the car is not like he described can you pull out? Just wondering as since he seems to want paypal its making me a bit worried. Do you think this is an ok price?

13 year old car for £1200

looks in good nick though..

but ebay auction IS meant to be a contract and you bidded to buy car......sure you can pull out if you want but...........

Go and take a look at it, if you don't like it don't buy it no one will force you in to it.

You could always suggest to pay for listing fee

you have bidded to buy it, if you werent sure you should have looked first! Unless there is something wrong with it, or it isnt as the description says, its a legally binding contract. Looks like a nice car though!

didnt think £1200 was too bad so long as its in alright condition. I am only buying it as a run around and will be stripping it and putting buckets and a cage in for knockhill next year. My old run around was an xr2i which was quite slow but sold it recentally for £450 as it was gonna need a fair bit of work done.
