My brother and his mate are condsiderin this, it was designed for a Fireblade engine which has now being taken out. Needs abit of work but the basics are there. It has R1 front discs and Sierra rears. I suggested that if they got it they should replace the shell for that of a Marcos, that way they are guarenteed good areodynamics if ever they wanted to try any top speed runs.

how much is it on the marc, the marcos shell wouls be good for arodynamics, but IMO is fuck ugly and would flex more

Got it for 650, we're waiting for ebay to get back to us though on weather we've got it or not, as people complained that their bids werent registered.

the gearing would surely fuck the top speed run up, as the blade gearbox is designed to run on a 17" wheel, not a set of 13"

Who cares about top speed!! 1/4 mile will be silly.
I also know for a fact that it would kill an evo round a track, dont care what anyone says, nik lol. I witessed it at Elvington back in febuary, EVO TME and another 6 were being shown up something rotten by 2 bike engined minis

Do you know anything about the construction of it? Like what driveshafts have been used e.t.c... I have a vauge understanding of how it's done but need to know more....

yes, but theres a limit to what you cna do to alter the gearing, you are correct in you thinking though
