As i've sold my car, i can't afford 2 insure another car on my own cos i'm a cash strapped student !!! My mum an dad however said i could get insured on me mums 03 plate corsa SXI. So i thought that i'd only have to pay another couple hundred £, but it looks more like £400 at least, which i think is steep considering i'll only be driving it a wkends. So far i've tried :

Elephant
Tesco
Direct Line
More Than
Norwich Union
Churchill

Can anyone reccomend any other insurers that'll insure 2 45 year olds with donkeys years of no claims and me (18, 1 years no claims and pass plus)

Most over 25's policies are cheaper because no driver under 25 will be driving the car. Both my parents have this, and to add me to the policies costs them either £35 a week, or a few hundred a year because someone under 25 is driving the car.

I think i might have to bite the bullet and pay the extra £400 i reckon, cos it'll still be a damn sight cheaper than having insurance on my own !!

oh and a quick plug for my car for sale cos the lad having it has pulled out !!!
