im trying to buy a car with 10 months MOT and no TAX. ive just finished pass plus and am not insured on any car. the car im tryin to buy is in liverpool 14 miles away and i have to go through tunnel. how do i get it taxed? would i have to get insured on it then wait for the documents?

call an insurance company an get the cover for the day ur gonna pick the car up but you need the mot certificate and ur insurance documnet to get it taxed at the PO

insure it .... commencing from when you pick it up...

Take the ins docs/v5 and MOT with you to a postoffice that tax's.... there yo ugo

i drove marge home from london with no tax.....

through about 8 gatso with a V5 in the 2nd last owners name

about 4-10 days depends on when the cover starts and the company

1 day if you get them courierd.... 2 normally if you dont
