im 17 and have one pass plus lesson to do. i only have £400 in my bank account and pick up around £500 a month. i have a fiesta but im currently puttin a 1.6 xr2 engine in and want to drive asap but also want something for a bit off comfort and cart people around in. theres a 2.0 8v cavalier for £250 on ebay and i can get insured for £1400 in my own name fully comp but i want a corsa sport 1.4 16v. is it worth saving up another £800 just to buy one? i only like them for the noise at high revs but a cav would be a bit quicker and is cheap and i wouldnt be bothered about damaging it.

think the corsa would be better option imho why buy a car for 250 pay 1400 to insure it waste of 1500 in my eyes

insurance is near enough the same on both cars. think corsa would be better as first car as its smaller
